Baby Shower and Wyatt

I am fully aware I need to blog about my baby shower. I don't have the pictures so I am going to have to get them... but here is a summary of the day for my wonderful and very missed sister Calixta.

As you know we did it at my inlaws. The house was decorated very cute. mom and her hung vines, stuffed animals and bananas around the room.. including the ceiling. The food table was set up very cute! The night before I made five batches of gorilla poop. I had to make five batches because Mitchell and I kept eating them. Karleigh made rope breadsticks and there was a really pretty fruit water bowl. We also had animal crackers and the most delicious salad I think I have ever had. I am sure there was more I just can't remember.

I invited a ton of people. Surprisingly a ton actually showed up. None of the Ashby's or Robinson's came. My only family there was mom and Karleigh. So that was kind of a bummer... I had a lot of Harwards and Wilcox's come. The main people who were there though were my old young woman leaders and girls I used to babysit. Almost everyone in my ward that I invited came! Which is funny because everyone I thought would come didn't and vice versa.

Ciria came and made me very very very sad that Calixta wasn't there. The whole thing was something I know she would have really enjoyed. I loved all my gifts. We had to go shopping to get the rest of our stuff a few days after and spent around $300! Kids are expensive... but from what I heard TOTALLY worth it!

Overall it was a good day. I had anxiety for the first hour because lately I have really struggled with all the attention I have been getting. Pregnancy sure does make you popular.

I have about two more weeks to go. I am hoping I have him super bowl weekend though. I am off to get some panda express and afterwards go on a late night walk. Who knows, it could do the trick.

I just want to thank Calixta and for all she has done for me in the past few months. I love all of our daily chats.  I am very glad Nate married you. You are a wonderful sister and I love being able to tell you anything. I can't wait for our babies to be friends and for you and Nate to come visit!!!! Also, I love you very much Nate and thank you for letting me talk to Calixta so much. I heard you have been getting jealous.. but I highly doubt you want to talk about your sisters boobs. When I have something totally interesting not dealing with pregnancy to share I will call you! I miss you guys so much. March is next month!
