sunday afternoon

Wyatt is 17 months old. His favorite things are mowing the lawn with dad (pictures to come soon), looking up videos on the computer with his grandparents (both sides), fireman sam (of course), reading and playing in the yard.

Wyatts favorite things to eat are mamas milk, yogurt, nanas, icecream, tuna fish, string cheese, crackers and potatoes.

His new discoveries are his diaper and trying to take it off, the toilet, shutting the dryer and opening and closing doors.

He is so nice to everybody and is still an amazing napper. We sure love this little boy.

15 months!

 Our little guy has grown so much since our last post! I don't even know where to begin! He is still the happiest kid. His very favorite thing right now is "Crocks" (Trucks). He plays with them for hours at a time and points them out whenever he sees one. He is all boy! He also loves to paint and draw. Whenever I am drawing he will go find a marker or pencil and come draw with me. He loves to read and really loves one on one time with daddy. He gets so excited when Mitch comes home from work. He will usually start screaming and tackle him. He is mimicking a lot of words and is pretty proud of himself whenever he pulls it off. He is finally starting to walk! He will waddle around our house all day. He is getting the hang of it more and more. He gets very excited whenever he gets to see kids (expecially his cousins). Wyatts favorite thing to eat is bananas, bread, pizza, shephards casserole and "gulk"(mamas milk). In three days he will be turning 15 months. We can't wait for this summer and all of the fun things we have in store for this little man!

No more bottle!

Wyatt is growing up! He has been off of his bottle for almost a month now. Even throughout his surgery week he made it without one. He decided one day he didn't need it anymore and hasn't had one since. He still of course nurses from his mama, but never to fall asleep. He falls asleep on his own for bed and nap time. We are so proud of him! He is fourteen months old this week! He still isn't walking but we know it is right around the corner.

Wyatts First Birthday!

I know it is way over due. But here are pictures from Wyatts first birthday! We all had so much fun. He got to spend time with both sides of the family and get spoiled rotten. I loved seeing him so happy! It was a lot of work but worth every second. Thank you to everyone who was able to make time for his special day!

Daycare

About a month ago I started working at a daycare. The daycare is offered Renaissance Academy which I graduated from about a year ago. I absolutely love it! I get to work with so many great kids ranging ages from 6 weeks to five years old. Of course I get to bring my little man. When we first started he was terrified of the other kids. He was constantly whining whenever they even came near him. He had to adjust to the fact that I had to help other babies with their needs too. But surprisingly he did really well with that fact. Now he gets very excited when we get there. Every morning the first thing he does is crawl as fast as he can over to the bin of cars. He chases after the kids laughing and they all just love him. He loves to cuddle with a five year old named Leigh during movie time. We are still working out his nap schedule but other than that he loves to be there! I am working about 30 hours a week. I am so blessed to have found a job that allows me to be a mother first and foremost. Watching him grow and play is the greatest thing ever. I can't wait for Christmas where he can play with his cousins! He isn't scared of them anymore!

Family Night

This week for family night we went to Riverwoods to see Santa! We wanted to make sure that Santa had enough time to get Wyatt exactly what he wants for Christmas. He was such a soft spoken sweet Santa. He asked Wyatt if he wants a race car or a shotgun for Christmas. No, Wyatt was not afraid of him. He simply looked at him with his big eyes as if it were anyone else.
